Cristiano Ronaldo has taken to social media to send a heartfelt goodbye message to Juventus supporters after completing a shocking return to former club, Manchester United.

KanyiDaily had earlier reported that Manchester United on Friday confirmed they have reached an agreement with Juventus FC to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

Man Utd fans all over the world are currently celebrating the return of the Portuguese star who left Old Trafford in 2009 having scored 118 goals in 292 games.

It was gathered 36-year-old striker, who spent the last three years in Juvester’s Turin, will return to Old Trafford on an initial £13 million (€15m/$18m) deal, with add-ons of up to £7m (€8m/$9m).

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Message To Juventus Fans

Taking to his Instagram page on Friday, August 27, Ronaldo thanked Juventus fans for their support, insisting that he gave his all while he wore the black and white stripes in the last three seasons.

The Portuguese superstar also noted that he would forever remain part of the Juventus family noting that he will always have them in his heart.

“Today I depart from an amazing club, the biggest in Italy and surely one of the biggest in all of Europe,” Ronaldo started, in the farewell Instagram post.

“I gave my heart and soul for Juventus and I’ll always love the city of Turin until my final days. The bianconeri fans always respected me and I tried to thank that respect by fighting for them in every game, every season, every competition.

“In the end, we can all look back and realise that we achieved great things, not all that we wanted, but still, we wrote a pretty beautiful story together.

“I will always be one of you. You are now part of my history, as I feel that I’m part of yours. Italy, Juve, Turin, bianconeri fans, you’ll always be in my heart.”
