The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has accused Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, of killing the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Anambra State.
In a statement issued by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, IPOB alleged that Governor Uzodinma murdered the INEC Chairman in Anambra because he refused to allow him to bring his ad-hoc staff to rig the upcoming November 6 gubernatorial election in the state.
The group also debunked claims by the police that some thugs killed two days ago by security operatives were members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), IPOB’s militant wing.
IPOB alleged that Governor Uzodinma hired thugs to unleash mayhem in Anambra in the name of ESN just to implicate and demonize IPOB.
IPOB accused the security agents of labeling the so-called criminals as ESN and IPOB members, describing it as a scheme by Uzodinma to deliver Anambra to the Nigerian government as achieved in Imo.
IPOB Accuses Hope Uzodinma Of Anambra Killings
The statement read, “The attention of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been drawn to the fabricated and laughable claims by the Nigerian Government and its military that they killed four IPOB and ESN operatives in Nnobi Idemili South LGA Anambra State.
“We want to categorically state to all and sundry that IPOB and ESN members were not the ones killed in the said operation. Neither IPOB members nor ESN operatives were among those purportedly killed by the Army in Nnobi two days ago. We don’t know why Nigeria Government always likes to cover the truth and peddle falsehood.
“What happened was that they mistakenly killed some criminals and terrorists recruited by Supreme Court Administrator in Imo State, Hope Uzodinma and APC (All Progressives Congress) party to wreak havoc in South East. These bunch of hooligans are the ones unleashing mayhem on our people in the name of ESN just to implicate and demonise IPOB. But nemesis caught up with them.
“Nigerian Army thought they killed ESN operatives not knowing it was bandits recruited by Uzodinma that they killed. They now wanted to cover up by tagging them IPOB members but unknown to them their deceit cannot be covered up anymore.
“It’s no longer a secret that Hope Uzodinma in his desperation to please his slave masters, the Fulani caliphate, is employing all manner of strategies to deliver Anambra State to APC but our people must resist him.
“This was part of his pact with the Caliphate before they gave him the governorship of Imo State through the kangaroo judgement of the Supreme Court. Some gullible minds don’t yet understand the game. But the oppressors know that IPOB knows their antics. That’s why they are after us.
“We want the media to summon the courage and ask Nigerian military to tell them whom they killed at Nnobi Anambra State and they should stop linking IPOB to what happened at Ekwulobia Aguata two days ago.
“Hope Uzodinma created unknown gunmen thinking that he will implicate IPOB and ESN but God is working against him.
“We want to again warn Ndi Anambra to be at alert and never allow Hope Uzodinma to succeed with his evil plan. For those who don’t know, Hope Uzodinma murdered the INEC Chairman in Anambra State because he turned down Uzodinma’s request to bring his agents as ad hoc staff for the November 6 governorship election to perfect his rigging plan.
“Nigerian security agents, both DSS (Department of State Services) supported Fulani in their desperate mission to Islamise South East which is impossible for them. There is nothing they can do to change our people in our irrevocable resolve to restore Biafra.
“Similarly, Nigerian Army is committing secret genocide in Biafraland, the whole world must take note of these atrocities and extrajudicial killings going on in Biafraland in the name of Operation Golden Dawn officers deployed in our land, particularly everybody must endeavour to watch the viral videos and pictures where Nigeria soldiers and its sister security (are) shooting innocent villagers in Awgu, Enugu State.
“Nigerian security agents were sent into our territory to commit another round of genocide against innocent citizens of Biafra, we wondered why Amnesty International, civilised (sic) would keep quiet and allow Nigerian military killing innocent citizens because they accept to become the upcoming Biafra Nation.
“We are calling owners and leaders of this world to come for our rescue Nigerian army and other security agents killing, murdering and massacring Biafrans extrajudicially without any justifications, what did we do to answer in the first place, what crime for answering (sic) Nigeria.
“Nigerian government and her security agents decided completely to reduce the population of Biafra, we want the world leaders to fix a date for Biafra referendum so our people can decide where they want to belong, we are tired of Nigeria and its Fulani agenda.”
