Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike says God has given him what it takes to deal with his political enemies.

According to him, instead of leaving these enemies to God, he will deal with them himself, adding that he would flog “the small boys.”

Wike stated this on Monday in Abia State while inaugurating the Okezuo Abia Flyover along the Aba-Enugu Expressway in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area, and the rehabilitated Aba- Owerri Road in Aba South Local Government Area of the state.

“God has given me what it takes to crush these people, for me to crush my enemies,” Wike, who appeared to be throwing bants at the National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu, said, describing his enemies as “small boys” who he would not hesitate to deal with.

“No relationship can be bought with money. When I read some newspapers, they say some people are making attempts to break ranks. I said do you understand the modus operandi of what we are doing? If they understand the modus operandi, they will not waste their time.

“If you like, go and meet Ikpeazu, if you like go and meet Seyi, if you like go and meet Ortom, if you like go and meet Ugwuanyi. You don’t even understand what we are doing…you are making mistakes,” Wike said.

The Rivers governor was hosted by his Abia state countepart, Okezie Ikpeazu.

Wike, Ayu ‘War’

Kanyi Daily recalls that Ayu and Wike have been locked in a cold war since Wike lost the PDP presidential ticket to former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar.

The governor had asked the PDP chairman to step down, saying it was not right for the party’s presidential flagbearer and chairman to hail from the same zone.

Atiku hails from Adamawa (North East), while Ayu hails from Benue (North Central).

But Ayu had said he was not bothered by those calling for his resignation because they are “kids” who were nowhere to be found when they struggled to form the party.

Few days after, Wike fired back at Ayu, saying he was an ingrate, stressing that those who he described as children brought him from the gutter and made him PDP chairman.
