Enugu State Police command has commenced investigations into the acid bath allegedly suffered by Sunday Uche from Amuri, Nkanu-West Local Government Area of Enugu State in the hands of a friend.

The victim was allegedly lured to a hotel along Enugu-Port-Harcourt Expressway by his friend where he was bathed with acid and forced to drink same on June 23. He is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Enugu.
Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, who confirmed the incident in a statement, said the victim had issues with his friend over unidentified business transactions.
