See How Dino Melaye Reacted After INEC Declared Him Winner Of Kogi Senatorial Race

The Senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, Dino Melaye has reacted as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), declares him the winner of Saturday’s election.

Dino Melaye who contested under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defeated his close rival, Smart Adeyemi of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He won 6 LGA’s out of 7 with a total number of 85, 395 votes to defeat his APC opponent who scored 66, 902 votes.

Reacting to the victory via his Twitter handle in the early hours of Monday, Melaye thanked God for his victory during the polls and commended the people of his constituency for their support.

To God alone be the glory forever and ever. Amen. I have just been declared winner of the Kogi West Senatorial District Election. God only You would have done this. Kogi West I thank you all. I love you all. What a mighty God we serve.
