The notorious cultist and drug addict was declared wanted three months ago after he hacked three people to death at Ogere and Iperu – Remo in Ikenne LGA.

He reportedly hacked a nursing mother to death at Ogere and went ahead to kill a security guard attached to one poultry farm at Iperu-Remo.

Governor Abiodun also shared the development on his Twitter page.

“The limited free rein of the serial killer, Feyisola Dosunmu, who in the last few months killed about nine people in the Ogere/Iperu area of Ogun State has now been brought to an end by men of the @PoliceNG.

“Before anything else, I must appreciate that the killing spree will now stop. It is however unfortunate that the killer engaged officers and became a casualty, according to the debriefing I received.

“I commend the Commissioner of Police, Mr Edward Awolowo Ajogun and the entire Ogun State Command of the Nigeria Police for following up alongside other security agencies on this case which had necessitated placing ransom.”

The killing of Dosunmu is coming few days after another suspected serial killer, Sunday Shodipe, was re-arrested by the Oyo State Police Command.

Shodipe, who had earlier escaped from lawful custody on 11th August, 2020, is a prime suspect in multiple murder of innocent citizens at Akinyele Local Government Area, Moniya, Ibadan, Oyo State.
