“77 In Lagos, 26 In Abuja” – Nigeria Confirms 119 New Coronavirus Cases As Total Hits 62,111

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 119 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 62,111.

"77 In Lagos, 26 In Abuja" - Nigeria Confirms 119 New Coronavirus Cases As Total Hits 62,111 1

The NCDC disclosed this on Monday night via its verified Twitter handle, said the new cases are recored in five states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

“On the 26th of October 2020, 119 new confirmed cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Nigeria,” NCDC said.

The 119 new cases are reported from 6 states- Lagos (77), FCT (26), Plateau (9), Edo (4), Oyo (2), Nasarawa (1).

“Till date, 62111 cases have been confirmed, 57571 cases have been discharged and 1132 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.”
