KanyiDaily recalls that ASUU had embarked on a warning strike since February 14, over the failure of the federal government to meet its demands.

Amid the strike, the government and the union have held a series of meetings, but no agreement has been reached by both sides on ending the strike.

President Muhammadu Buhari had recently declared that enough is enough, saying it’s time for the lecturers to call off the ASUU strike in the interest of their students and the country.

Reacting on his Twitter page, Sani said the money spent on politics in Nigeria can easily meet the demands of ASUU.
