Equatorial Guinea’s ANIF Boss, Baltasar Engonga Arrested Over 400 Sεx Tapes With VIPs’ Wives, Sisters

Baltasar Engonga, Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency, has been arrested following allegations that he recorded over 400 intimate videos involving wives of prominent figures in the country.

KanyiDaily had reported that Baltasar Ebang Engonga is at the heart of a massive scandal after explicit videos of him surfaced online.

The scandal surfaced during a fraud investigation into the 54-year-old, which led officials to search his home and office.

During the raid, several CDs were found, containing videos of Baltasar Engonga’s encounters with various married women.

The videos reportedly feature high-profile individuals, including Engonga’s brother’s wife, his cousin, the President’s sister,, the Director General of Police’s wife, and about 20 of the country’s ministers’ wives, among others.

These recordings found in his office were allegedly made with consent and were later leaked online, sparking a media frenzy.

Local news outlet Ahora EG reports that since October, Engonga has been embroiled in an unprecedented scandal involving numerous affairs with both married and single influential women in Equatorial Guinea.

Some of these encounters reportedly took place in his office, with scenes depicting the country’s national flag in the background, adding a layer of shock and embarrassment for the government.

In response to the scandal, the government of Equatorial Guinea has introduced strict measures to reinforce conduct standards among officials.

The administration has immediately suspended any public official involved in sexual activities within government offices.

Vice President Nguema Mangue condemned such behavior as a serious breach of ethics, emphasizing that “respect and ethics are essential in our Administration.”

Attorney General Nzang Nguema commented on the tapes, noting that while consensual relations are not considered criminal, the case underscores the importance of maintaining high standards of public behavior.

Nguema also emphasised that the risk is not only for the women involved but also for their partners and the wider community, adding, “The possibility of a contagious disease being spread through these sexual interactions makes the situation even more critical.

He further pointed out that the onus is on victims to come forward in cases of rape or assault, highlighting the need for an environment where people feel safe and supported to report such incidents.

He warned of potential health risks from these activities, highlighting concerns for both the individuals involved and the wider public.

As the scandal unfolds, the government’s zero-tolerance stance aims to restore public trust and reinforce the integrity of Equatorial Guinea’s public service.
