A popular All Progressives Congress chieftain Franklin Obi, his wife and son were buried today in Rivers state.
The late Comr Franklin Obi, the Ward 4 chairman in Omoku, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA of Rivers State, was gruesomely murdered alongside his wife Iheoma Obi and their 18-year-old son, Bestman Obi, in March 2016.
The politician was beheaded by the gunmen who stormed the man’s house around 9pm before shooting the other family members dead. Six of the man’s children survived the onslaught and attended the burial.
