American singer, Trey Songz has slammed president Buhari over his #EndSARS statement.

American singer, Trey Songz has slammed President Mohammadu Buhari over his recent statement on the ongoing nationwide protest for the scrapping of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

KanyiDaily had reported that there is an ongoing #EndSARS protest across the country against the SARS tactical unit of the Nigerian Police Force over brutality, illegal arrest, extortion, extra-judicial killings, among others.

Last week Friday, President Buhari had taken to his Twitter page to address Nigerians amidst the protest, saying his determination to reform the Nigerian police should never be in doubt.

Reacting to the statement, Trey Songz didn’t mince words as he slammed President Buhari saying: “The people saying you full of shit fam.”

The singer also tweeted: “Reading this article looks as though they just gon re employ these same officers in different positions. BULLSHIT!!!”

Trey Song’s second tweet was in reaction to the statement by the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, announcing the immediate disbandment and deployment of officers in the SARS police unit.
