“Sunday Igboho Has Been Poisoned In Cotonou Prison” – Journalist Kemi Olunloyo

Kemi Olunloyo said that the Cotonou authorities need to be questioned over alleged poisoning of Sunday Igboho.

Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has alleged that Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, has been poisoned in Cotonou Prison.

KanyiDaily recalls that Sunday Igboho’s lawyer, Yomi Aliyu had revealed that the agitator is seeking to go for medical treatment in France or Germany because his health was deteriorating.

The lawyer claimed that Igboho’s kidney and lungs may have been damaged while trying to escape during the July 1 invasion of his Soka, Ibadan home by operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS).

Taking to her Twitter page on Monday, Kemi Olunloyo alleged that Igboho was poisoned in prison, adding that the Cotonou authorities need to be questioned on what he consumed.

She wrote, “Sunday Igboho has been poisoned in a Cotonou prison. His kidney function is deteriorating and Yoruba Nation is silent.

Where is the cash donated for him? Cotonou authorities need to be questioned on what he consumed. He had a healthy kidney before arrest.”

KanyiDaily recalls that Sunday Igboho’s lawyer had revealed that the agitator won’t return to Nigeria until the end of President Buhari’s administration.
