A former Senator representing Rivers East constituency of Rivers State, John Azuta Mbata has compensated the single mother, Violet Kenneth Isele, he destroyed her vehicles during a land dispute two weeks ago.

KanyiDaily had published a video where a woman was seen crying uncontrollably and calling for Nigerians to come to her aid as she accused a former Senator of destroying the cars she was given to sell.

The woman explained that after she was given the vehicles to sell, she parked them for display on a piece of land which the former senator claimed it was his.

The senator later went in the middle of the night to destroy about 6 of the cars, smashing the windscreen of two SUVs and damaged them badly.

On Sunday, September 22, 2019, Violet Kenneth Isele took to her social media page to disclosed that the Nigerian police have settled the dispute between her and John Azuta Mbata, adding that the former lawmaker even compensated her with some cash.

According to the single mother, she was given N250k by the former lawmaker who also gave her an opportunity to ask for any favour.

Taking to her Instagram page, she wrote; “Hello friends and family, I so much appreciate you guys for supporting me, I violet Kenneth isele and Senator John Azuta Mbata have settled our differences, I was just a victim of circumstances. Thanks for your support.”
