A federal judge in Florida has ordered rapper Tory Lanez to pay Megan Thee Stallion’s legal fees after disrupting a court deposition tied to her defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz.

The incident happened during an April 9 deposition held over Zoom from prison, where Lanez reportedly insulted and mocked Megan’s lawyer, interrupted the proceedings, and refused to answer simple questions.
His behavior prompted the court to step in with sanctions and require him to cover legal fees from that session.
According to court documents, Lanez also missed a court-imposed deadline on April 30 to explain his actions, which led the judge to issue additional penalties.
Following his actions, the judge not only imposed financial penalties but also ruled that a magistrate judge would oversee all depositions involving Tory Lanez to keep things in check.
Megan’s lawyers are also pushing for a special master—someone neutral to manage testimony—to be appointed, with Lanez footing the bill for that as well.
This is all part of Megan Thee Stallion’s larger defamation case against Gramz, who she accuses of spreading lies about her mental health, drug use, and personal life, allegedly with help from Lanez and his father.
Earlier in the case, Milagro Gramz was fined $5,000 for delaying court-ordered access to her social media accounts during a digital evidence review.
The legal fight follows the fallout from the 2020 shooting that left Megan Thee Stallion injured and led to Tory Lanez’s conviction. This latest ruling adds to the rapper’s growing list of legal problems.
KanyiDaily recalls that Tory Lanez was recently seriously injured and hospitalized after being stabbed 14 times at a prison in California.
