Why I Dumped My Fiance Two Days To Our Wedding Despite Being Pregnant – Ngozi Nwosu

Veteran Nollywood actress, Ngozi Nwosu has revealed that she called off her wedding just two days before the ceremony due to her fiancé’s abusive behavior.

In an interview on the ‘Talk To B’ podcast hosted by Biola Bayo, the actress explained that she couldn’t tolerate physical abuse, even though she might have forgiven infidelity.

Ngozi Nwosu revealed that her ex-partner physically assaulted her while she was pregnant, which made her prioritize her safety and career.

The movie star stressed that while infidelity might be forgivable, physical abuse is an absolute reason to end a relationship.

“For me, infidelity isn’t enough for you to let go of your man. But, if it’s battery, I advise any woman to, in fact, not take any of their property and run for your life because they will never stop. Once a man lifts his hand on you, he won’t stop.

“I called off my wedding two days before because that day, he gave me the beating of my life. I was pregnant then, and I was like, is this what I’m entering? Because he has never done it before.”

“For me, infidelity isn’t enough to leave your man. But, if it’s physical abuse, I advise any woman to leave immediately because it will never stop. Once a man hits you, he won’t stop,” she said.

The 61-year-old actress admitted that she initially regretted her decision but later realized it was the best choice for her.
