“You Will Leave A Lasting Legacy, God Bless You For This Act” – Davido Tells Buhari

Popular Nigerian singer, Davido has taken to social media to hail President Muhammadu Buhari following the just concluded Osun state governorship election.

KanyiDaily had reported how Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defeated the incumbent governor under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gboyega Oyetola to win the Ogun governorship election.

Taking to his Twitter page on Sunday, Buhari reiterated his commitment to ensuring the conduct of credible elections across the country, noting that the results of the election reflected the will of the Osun people.

Quoting one of Buhari’s tweets, Davido prayed for God’s blessing on Buhari for “this act alone”, adding that the president will leave a lasting legacy in terms of “credible elections” in Nigeria.

“You will leave a lasting legacy! God bless you for this act alone sir!” the singer wrote.

KanyiDaily had also reported that Nigerian singer, Portable released a song to celebrate Ademola Adeleke’s victory, despite endorsing Governor Gboyega Oyetola before the Osun election.
